2. Collected stories of Roald Dahl. (For adults)

3. Ghachar Gochar: Vivek Shanbag

4. When breath becomes air: Paul Kalanithi

5. Many lives many masters and Only Love is for Real : Brian Weiss

6. Maharani: Ruskin Bond

7. Travelling Cat chronicles: Hiro Arikawa

8. Stationery shop of Tehran: Marjan Kamali

9. Tattooist of Auschwitz : Heather Morris

10. Maus : Art Spiegelman

11. Goat Days : Benyamin

12. The Guernsey Literary and Potato peel pie society :Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer

  2. The only one I've read on the list is When Brath Becomes Air. I liked it but liked the author's second husband's wife's book The Bright Hour even more.

    1. Ah !! I didn’t like the movie ! I kept comparing it to the book. I liked the book because it’s an epistolary and it all comes together so beautifully later on. Brilliant writing.

  4. I've read the Guernsey book. I want to read Maus but there's a huge wait list on that one at my library, so it will be a while. That's what happens when a book gets banned. Everyone wants to read it!

    1. Oh ! I had no idea it was banned !
In India 🇮🇳 it’s freely available. It’s a brilliant book, I think the only graphic novel to win a Pulitzer. But I felt sad for days altogether and it disturbed me . Still I loved it.

    1. Yes. I have been in the same panel with Benyamin at a lit fest and he is such a humble man. He is so impressive.

  12. Hi Preeti. Wow! What a wonderful list of books. I have not read any of them, but will make a note of the titles. I will definitely recommend this list to my Mom. For the past 4 months, she has been reading books on Kindle and has got hooked. I think she reads 3 to 4 books in a week. As far as my favorite books go, I would have to say that most of them are the ones written by you! As a child, my favorite books were those written by Judy Blume, Francine Pascal, Ann M. Martin and Beverly Clearly. Was an avid reader as a child and hope to continue for years to come. 📚
