Blog marathon starts today! (post 1)
Hello beautiful people!
How are you all doing? With the omicron wave subsiding in most states, I am sure you are feeling a bit more hopeful than you did during the last wave. Let's all hope it subsides and we're all able to travel like before (although with precautions of course).
Each year I do a blog marathon. What this means is I will be blogging every single day, for the next 30 days! If you subscribe (see the box on the left) you should be able to get the posts in your inbox. In case it doesn't work, you can always come back here and check if I have updated. I usually publish a new post by the end of the day.
Many people ask me why I do a blog marathon every year. For me, the blogging community is always special. I'd started this blog in October 2006, a month after I lost my father. This blog helped me form real connections with real people (who I met later in real life :) ) across the world. I've never come across a more supportive community than the blogging community. Hence doing a blog marathon is my way of 'giving back'.
(I've kept my blog free of ads and I don't earn anything from my blog. I write here because I want to connect to you all). There's something so special about writing blog posts, and exchanging comments in the comment box, don't you agree?
If there's any specific topic you want me to write on, please leave me a comment in my comment box. (If you are reading this in your inbox, please head over to my blog and use the comment box. It may not be possible for me to reply to all mails individually!)
If you don't have any specific topic, I'll blog about anything that catches my fancy. Perhaps it would be a drawing or a photo on some days. On other days it could be musings about life.
I'll see you here tomorrow.
Till then stay safe, keep smiling
Love 💗

DeleteHello Mam, thanks for starting the blogathon! Can you do a blog on how to learn illustrsted journalling (only if it does not take too much time or effort for you)? Any courses, videos or books needed to learn this skill? Have seen your journal drawings and always been fascinated with them ❣️

ReplyDeleteHello nachu!
DeleteNot sure what you mean by self grooming. Do you mean beauty and make-up?
I'm afraid that's really not my expertise but there are a LOT of resources on the Internet which can probably help you in that.
Hi mam, can u pls write a blog about women achieving her dreams regarding her career after getting married.. DeleteHello my favourite author! I am totally excited about this blog marathon. I asked myself a question today- what do we mean when we say a 'good job'? Is it a job that pays well? Or a job that finds us mental satisfaction? Or maybe an intersection of both? It would be wonderful to get your perspective about the purpose of life, the importance of earning well and finding the desired peace in life as well. Looking forward. Lots of love.
ReplyDeleteWill definitely write about this. Thank you for leaving me a comment! Lots of love.
DeleteSharing a photograph and talking about that moment, probably walking down the memory lane !

Thank you and nice to see you back here :)
DeleteHi Preeti! I am extremely excited about your Blog Marathon. This is something I look forward to every year. The topics you write about are extremely helpful as I tend to learn so many things by reading your blog.☺️ The font you have chosen is very catchy too. One topic which I feel many women are affected by even in this day and age is whether they have children or not and if they don't, why it is such a big deal to the society. Can you please write about this on your blog? Just a suggestion from my side. Take care. Regards to your family. Looking forward to reading and replying to your posts. 🤗☀️
ReplyDeleteThank you so much prathima. Yes will write :)
DeleteHi , an ardent fan of yours. Started with your book - life is what you make of it.. and the journey of following you continues 🤗. Your words inspire instantly. I look forward for your books, writing, events, posts, blogs… I wanted to read something about emotional attachments and how to get over them when you know it’s only one sided and it is disrupting with your way to reach your life goals. Would be helpful!!! Thank you 😊
ReplyDeleteNow there is something to look forward for the next 30 days
