Never Have I Ever--baked bread before!

Today I baked bread. There's something deeply primal and satisfying about the act of baking bread and the aroma wafting through the entire home. I am new to bread baking and I am pleased about how soft it turned out. Also the home made one is so much better than the store bought one--both in terms of taste as well as the ingredients that go into it. I shared some with my neighbour and house-help as well, and they loved it too. (They're both always bringing stuff that they cooked for me. So it was nice to be able to return the favour)

After that I binged watched the latest season of  Never Have I Ever. I absolutely loved it. It's brillianty written, well-shot with the right amount of drama and emotions. Totally won me over (like milllions of other people) and left me with a happy-warm feeling much like the bread I baked.

That was my Saturday in a nutshell.
How was yours?

  1. Lovely! My Sunday was just like any other day. 😊 Yesterday, I painted after a long time, so I was struggling. Not very happy with my painting but I'm glad I painted. Now, I'll try to be regular.

  2. Namaskaram Preetiji,

Give us today our daily bread (read post) and forgive us our trespasses (read banter). This fresh post reminds me of the days when I used to go to fetch cakes from the bakery The smell of fresh bread, cakes and cookies wafting through the air made me close my eyes and get transported to the firmaments above.I can recall that heavenly scent while reading the post.

My Saturday was doing some household chores, catching up on old friends (albeit on the phone)and was reading "What do you see when you look in the mirror," a collection of short stories by Nikita Singh (finished half of it).
And of course checking this website a number of times to read your post so that I could again interact with you.

    Thank you for sharing
Lots of unconditional Love,Respect and Devotion to the most Awesome Author 🙏👍💛
