A quick and easy DIY for clearing charger clutter. Post 4

Hello!

How are you doing today?

The one thing I dislike very much is clutter. Clutter bothers me, and messes with my mind. I am a huge fan of the Konmari method. If you do not know what that is, and you want to get rid of clutter in your life,  do read Marie Kondo's Life Changing Magic of Tidying. I highly recommend it.

Here's what I did today.

Neat, isn't it?

It isn't hard at all. I made it myself. This is how I did it.

Step 1: Find a suitable box. I used an amazon box.

Step 2: Make a neat slit in the side.

Step 3: Place your extenion plug inside the box, and take out the wires through the slit.

Step 4: Decorate the box! I used washi tape for the edges to make them neat.

And oh--I also made extra hole for the phone charger wires to come out.

Since that side is against the wall, I didn't bother to decorate it, as it is hidden.

I was mighty pleased with it. :)

Like it? Tell me in comments.

  3. It’s beautiful and innovative ma’am. I made a key holder for my place a few days back. I can’t share a picture here in the comments, if you share your email id I can send you there.

Also after seeing your quilling posts which you had made long time ago...I had begun to learn quilling and from there my craft senses had become active!! Thanks for that too ma’am.

  6. it's true that our outlook can make difference . This is common at every household. (yes, there are some exceptions,I respect them . I'm always surprised with the thought how they keep their home neat and tidy?) Ok,but it is good habit and I have to follow them. This habit keeps us fresh, it helps to boost our confidence in work also.

I really like this blog. thanks.

  9. Good one, Preethi, but what about the dangers of any sparks and the possibility of fire?

    1. Grounds AC power with 3-line protection through all 8 sockets
Maximum Spike Current: 13,000 Amps ! It has never ever sparked as the response time is less than a nano second. Hence I don't think there's a danger of spark as it will fuse before that. Have used it for more than 3 years now :) But if you are afraid, I guess you shouldn't use it!! :)
