I love this guy!

He came unannounced, uninvited
Like he owned the place
And everyone around.
He took what he wanted
And left

When he had his fill .
He is elusive and charming
Clever and quick .
Oh! How I love this guy!
I wait for him
And when I see him
I am going to ask him
To give me my heart back.

  1. Just landed on your blog as I was browsing on the ‘next blog’ link .It was great reading about the squirrel. We too have had a similar experience over the past few months. I stay on the 2nd floor of an apartment in Thane , a suburb of Bombay, India. Our city was redone about 10 years ago and went on to win the best and clean city of India . Our area has a beautiful lake and lots of greenery .The trees have grown thick over the past 10 years .attracting a variety of birds. We are happy that we have nursed the nature back to its ecological balance and rescued the city from heading to a modern urban disaster
One day my 17 year old daughter screamed near the kitchen window saying she saw a rat. I went to the drawing room to peep out and have a view from outside and was surprised to see a squirrel among the many flower pots that I have. I went back to my childhood days when we had so many squirrels in the busy city of Bombay.
Our squirrel climbs and scampers on the building walls, peeping into the kitchens and trying to make friends with its constant chattering. We miss it when at times it doesn’t show up.
Say Hi to your squirrel friend from all of us.
