Really sorry--I have had to remove this post as it will soon appear in a book. Making it available online would have been very unfair to my publisher who has placed so much trust in me. I hope you enjoy the other posts as much as you enjoyed this one. A heartfelt thanks for your support and understanding. Thanks for continuing to read what I write.

Actually I believe it's a gremlin, although the whole thing has became a franchise now, and he might hire it out to Gnomes occasionally.

  24. Hmmm.... Guess am the only one who's thinking different today... Why not believe that "I din't do it mommy" is telling the truth.
Since things happen mostly when ur asleep, I believe that ur suffering from Multiple personality disorder :D..... Someone's (urselves) is messing up with ur mind.... :D
I believe that ur children are good and too small to say lies... :) Think abt it...

  31. This is very similar to something that happens in our house...except we have a fairy..the Fairy washes and irons all the clothes..puts school uniforms out..causes food to materialise in the fridge...the children do not seem to notice when the fairy does these things..but they have grown to take them for granted....

  37. Hey Preeti...your Mr. 'Didn't do it Mommy' gnome must be related to the gnome who used to reside in our hostel and finish of all the maggi packets and milk when we had to pull an all-nighter. And if I recall right his name was "Who me? Naaa. Given up maggi and drinking coffee at night. Bad for the face."

Btw I stumbled across your blog, liked it and have added it to my list of links I like to read
