Your chance to get published! 'Write India'

Hi there,
How have you been? My last post was from Goa, where I had been struggling for Internet connectivity and I had said I would share some pictures.

After I came back, I go caught up like crazy in finishing up next book. (Yes!! It is done! I am euphoric!) By then, it seemed too late to share the vacation pictures. If you want to see one of them, I have posted it on my FB page. (click to view)

Remember sometime back I had told you all about an ad that I had shot for?

Well this is what it is about!!

  3. Mam its so nice of you and TOI to give aspiring ones a gateway but isn't writing a self art. I mean how can an author write on your thoughts and visions. Just shared it, i know even you would've liked to write on the characters you've given birth too :). I am very happy by your wishes only to make my dreams come true :):)

    1. Kindly note that I am only a participant in this just like you. It is TOI who has come up with all terms and conditions. And you are more than free and welcome to give birth to your own characters and approach publishers with your work!
This is a contest and it is TOI who will make the selection of qualifying entries and send some to me ANONYMOUSLY, from which I will pick. So I will directly not have a say in the matter nor will I be able to influence outcome.
      Good luck!! :)

Wake Up Life is Calling by Preeti Shenoy : Cover launch!

Hello there!

How have you been? I have been immersed in shifting my home and settling down, as you know from my last post.

If you have been following me on social media, you will also know about my NEW BOOK!  It is a sequel to Life is What You Make It.

So, your favourite character Ankita is back! This book takes off where the first one ended. The first book has an epilogue which tells you what happened fifteen years later. But it doesn't give you any details about you what happened immediately afterwards, and in the time period leading up to those 15 years.
Life is what you make it ends with Ankita coming out of the mental hospital, and joining a creative writing course. The new book Wake Up, Life is Calling starts off from there.
This book was a very difficult one to write (It took me 8 years, and I wrote nine more books in the meantime) to go back to narrate Ankita's story. I am really excited about how it has turned out.

Since Ankita starts her life afresh, in the city of …
