A Cooling salad for summer. Blog marathon post 18

 I made this today.

1. Chop cucumber into square cubes and  place in serving bowl.
2.In a separate pan heat oil, splutter some til (sesame seeds). Add peanuts and lightly roas.
3. Add this to cucumber. Toss until it coats.
4.Squeeze some lemon juice and add salt.
5. Garnish with chopped mint leaves.

A delicious, nutritious, simple and quick salad is ready to cool you for summer.

Til (sesame seeds) are anti-oxidant, anti-cancer and also have curative properties.
Peanuts are high in protein.
Mint and cucumber are really cooling.

Try it! And tell me if you liked!

u came to my mind when i read the review!(ofcourse i ve read "Life is what u make it")so thought i ll let u know about it :)

  5. Substitute cucumber with grated carrots or cabbage - that tastes good too ! you just have to cook these two for a min or two to get a crunchy salad !
