Wedge heels saves the day!

Purvi (aged 6) trying out my shoes just before the party

Yet another Children’s birthday party (sigh!)
Kids AND parents invited.

Unfortunately, husband is traveling.
Fortunately, there were many women whose husbands were traveling as well.
Unfortunately, there was no Vodka.
Fortunately, there was no Conrad/Conroy too!
Unfortunately, there was one ridiculous game for mothers and children.
Fortunately, my kids decided it was too ‘dumb’. (and we did not take part)
Unfortunately, there were other ‘compulsory’ categories.
Fortunately, I enjoyed it, because I won it :-)

It was a prize, for 'the mommy with the highest heels.' And yes—the winner was me.
I have always loved wearing high heels. I always feel ‘party attire’ is incomplete without those killer heels. But this is the first time I have got a prize for it!

Yeah—I guess you could say the party wasn’t so bad after all. Despite there being no husband and no Vodka !!

  1. Ahhhhhhh.. I would have loved to be in that party.. I would have given you stiff competition, lady! :D

I am all about the high heels. My appa came to visit me and he had normal reactions to the rest of the apartment. He step into my walk in closet, he turns and looks at me and gives me a lecture on how I should not waste money on shoes and hand bags!
    :D

No outfit is complete without high heels, period!

  2. I love high heels too. I had to have serious surgery on my right leg some years ago and my foot and the lower part of my leg are partially paralyzed and my main worry was whether I would be able to wear heels or not again.
It took a lot of practise but by golly, I can wear heels!

    Hi ps,

Congrats for the prize! My wife too got a prize like that soem time ago in a ball that we attended in Delhi.

Soory about the vodka, I know being a woman it must sound it a little too ambitious, but like me, you can expore the possibility of keeping a hip flask. And call it a purse flask, or something.

You daughter looks cute in the heels. My daughters too do this cat walk all the time.
    Cheers!

Raj:Thank you! appreciate your taking time to comment.

Kulpreet:ah--a hip flask! As it is I'm branded a non-conformist.And also not that much of an adddict. So no hip flask for me! :-)
