November Rain

Hopped over to devil mood's and her post just compelled me to put up "November Rain".It brought back fond memories of 'slash worshipping days':-) (Well, secretly,I still so!) I used to rave about this one so much to my dad, and used to try and get him to share my enthusiasm about it. :-) (Dad and my son are both November borns, and strangely, it was raining when my son was born) November Rain is always special.

"And when your fears subside
And shadows still remain,
I know that you can love me
When there's no one left to blame
So never mind the darkness
We still can find a way
'Cause nothin' lasts forever
Even cold November rain"

  2. Ah lovely :)
I must confess I was never a G'n'R fan back in the days...but I like them now, in a retro sort of way.
These lyrics make a lot of sense. I love November, I love rain (sometimes hheh)...
BTW, thanks for the lovely e-mail - loved the words and the picture was also beautiful!

I have always loved that video. Thank you for reminding me of it again, and it's amazing playing the guitar with no amp thing...

  5. Oh yes! I loved Guns n Roses and still do. I like to play them in my car and turn the volume up a little bit.

BTW - I visited your art web site and think it is wonderful! That is really something to be proud of :-)

  6. aha..it rains on your son's birthday too...happens to me everytime.
There can be a clear blue sky on the 22nd of june and it wouldn't matter..before the day ends..it always rains.
Kinda like the gods crying that I had to leave them...similar to mother's crying when their son goes to another country.

ofcourse, in heaven's case, they could be tears of happiness, "YAY..harshal finally left, no more pranks being pulled in heaven for a few decades...ahh..peace at last"

    lol
