Achille's heel

He looked hard

Trying to find

An Achille's heel

Bits of behind

He failed to see

I'd bared my soul

He could poke into my heart

And feel

The whole

  8. You say so much more between the lines!I like it very much. The photo on first glance reminded me of a candid photo of a hollowood type film photo magazine.."here's Audrey Hepburn in the Rue Monmartre on a rare break in filming"..but on second glance..is it you talking to a dog?

  9. Niall:I'm so flattered, being compared to Audrey Hepburn.Yes, it is me.That was a stray dog, which had a burr stuck to its coat, which I was removing.Atul clicked a picture.I liked it a lot.I cropped it in Picassa.
You do know how to read between the lines.Really well.
Unfortunately most people who read the poem did not understand it.(They sent me messages asking to explain)

  12. Your heel IS your whole. A very lovely poem.

But I think the earrings could have been JUST a tad bit larger. And by the way, what shampoo and conditioner do you use? I think I saw that sweater in the 2000 catalogues.
